January 2006 Letter from US Director Nasko Lazarov

Rich wth many things

Dear friends of Mission Possible,

Few days ago I was challenged to describe the ministry of Mission Possible in two sentences. The challenge was not so much to say in a concise way who we are and what we believe in. The hard part was in describing all the work that our teams are currently carrying out in the lands of Russia and Eastern Europe.

This reminded me of another occasion when I had a conversation with a good friend of Mission Possible who contacted us on behalf of her church's missions committee. Some members of the missions committee, after hearing in details about all of our programs, were under the impression that we must be a very rich organization if we do all that we do.

And this was not far from the truth. Let me tell you about our riches as a ministry:

- we are rich with people on our missions teams who are passionate about the work of the Lord;
- we are rich with ideas and dreams of where we want to see our countries to be and about our churches;
- we are rich with friends like you and many others who trust and believe in us and have decided to join hands with us, so that we will see many more souls to come to faith in Jesus Christ and eternal life;
- we are rich not because our bank accounts are big (actually they are pretty much depleted as everything that we get goes immediately towards the ministry of our teams);
- we are rich because of Our Father in Heavenly have promised us to provide for all our needs.

Ag to my friend the ministry of our Mission, there was a long pause. "Praise be unto Jesus!" wfter describinas the first that I heard after our conversation continued. And this is exactly what we want to see during this new 2006 as an effect of our ministry:

All the glory to be given to our Lord Jesus Christ!

However, we will not be satisfied with this-
we want to see many more souls
to be reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ;

we want to see the churches in Russia and Eastern Europe
to stand strong and firm;

and, we want to see the churches to continue strong with their ministries
towards the individuals and the whole of their societies.

With your help and ongoing partnership we will be able to continue with the task in the New Year. We covet your prayers and support! And want to thank you again for standing alongside us in ministry during the past 2005.
