Now in operation: Church planting in Udmurtia

Goal: Gospel to each individual in Udmurtia.

Strategy: One church planer targets 5 unevangelized towns or villages.

Results by 2005: 8 church planters supported at the moment since April 2004. As a result, over 40 groups and churches have been started as a result.

Need: 20 church planters still need support! Support lasts 12 months: 250 eur ($300) /month, 100% of the support straight to the field.

How the support of a church planter functions in practice?

Information package: The new sponsor contacts us and we send him or her information of a church planter who needs support, along with payment instructions.
Monthly payments: The sponsor sends us $300 a month for 12 months.
Repots from the field: The sponsor reserves from us two 6-month reports with photos, put together of the three-month reports that the church planter sends to us.
Monitoring of the work: The work of the church planer is continuously monitored closely by local pastors and Mission Possible.
Continuation of sponsorship: After one year of support, Mission Possible and local pastors evaluate the work and talk with the church planter about possible continuation of support. If sponsorship is needed and the sponsor is willing to continue or other sponsor is found, the support is prolonged by one more year. The goal is that after two years the local church can take over the most of financial responsibilities. We don't continue sponsorship is the results are not good enough.
Role of the sponsor: The church planter is responsible to the local Church and Mission Possible. Sponsor cannot contact the church planter without the konledge of the Church or Mission Possible, to arrange program or travel to the church planting territory or to set extra conditions.
